Kawartha Martial Arts Academy most recent Kyu belt graduates.

Gradings at Kawartha Martial Arts Academy are held roughly every 3 or 4 months - generally when there are enough students ready to go for their next belt to warrant a grading.  Evaluations here are based on the growth of each student individually and each student may request to see their scores after a grading.

Typically gradings last between 2-6 hours depending on the belt level of the student, the higher the belt, the longer the grading and the more they are expected to know and perform.

Gradings in our club take a certain level of preparedness to complete and do well, but you are never sent for a grading unless the Sensei feel you are ready.
